One wastewater facility in Oregon is using an innovative process that is not only helping to reduce environmental pollution, but also providing a sustainable source of nutrients for agriculture.
Ostara Nutrient Recovery Technology is “able to recover the phosphorus from these waters in a crystalline form, turning that phosphorus into a highly valuable, slow-release phosphate fertilizer,” says Ostara’s Phillip Abrary, President & CEO.
